EASY DETOX SMOOTHIE
(with NO weird ingredients!)

This Detox Smoothie is like drinking a liquid vitamin! The ingredients in this particular smoothie are carefully chosen to flood your body with nutrients without using any specialty powders or expensive supplements. Instead, you just need a few fruits and vegetables that you may already have in your fridge!
Since this detox smoothie is loaded with nutrient-dense, low-calorie foods, I think it's a good choice if you're trying to lose weight. The pectin found in apples and the fiber in all of these ingredients will help keep you full, and if you use it as a meal replacement you may end up eating fewer calories than you normally would, which may also contribute to weight loss.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup water (or orange juice)
1 green apple
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
1 cup fresh spinach
small handful fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve right away.
If you don't have have a high-speed blender, I recommend blending the spinach, cilantro, and ginger with the water first, to help break them down completely. Then add in the fruit and lime juice, and blend again.
MAKE A BULLETPROOF COFFEE IN 3 EASY STEPS
A good ratio for making your bulletproof coffee is about 1 tablespoon of fat to 8-12 oz of coffee.
Step 1
Brew your coffee. Anywhere between 8-12 oz is a good amount.
Step 2
Choose your fats.
You have a lot of choices when it comes to healthy fats.
I generally opt for a mix of either coconut oil or MCT oil.
Here are some healthy fat options to get you started:
grass fed butter – a popular choice
grass fed ghee – great option if you’re lactose intolerant but still want the health benefits of grass fed butter
coconut oil – rich in anti-inflammatory and immune boosting properties.
⭐️ MCT / Brain Octane oil – a coconut oil product that offers an immediate boost in energy levels
coconut butter – adds a distinctive coconut flavour
cacao butter – you may not be as likely to have this fat in your pantry. Blending it into your bulletproof coffee makes it taste like white chocolate.
nut butters – best if used in combination with a fat (like coconut oil)
Step 3
Blend! Add your coffee with your chosen fats to a blender and process until creamy and emulsified. Pour yourself a warm serving of this nourishing caffeinated beverage and ENJOY!

Green tea has so many health benefits that it has long been labelled a superfood. It contains high levels of polyphenols which are antioxidants that reduce the formation of harmful free radicals in the body. Free radicals damage cells and promote ageing and have been linked to cancer.
There have also been numerous scientific studies that look into evidence that green tea boosts metabolism and can increase the bodies fat-burning potential.
Option: Drink iced or add some raw honey!
20 CALORIE HOT CHOCOLATE
INGREDIENTS
1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 ½ Tablespoons Splenda Sugar Substitute Stevia
1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Boiling Water or milk substitute such as almond. This will increase calories so make sure to account for that.
Mix together dry ingredients in mug and pour 1 cup water over mixing until well blended. Add vanilla extract and stir. Allow to cool and serve.

CANDY CANE PROTEIN SHAKE
INGREDIENTS
½ cup Greek or Vegan Yogurt
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
1 cup of Vegan Milk (such as Almond)
2 teaspoon of Low Carb Sweetener (I used stevia)
¼ teaspoon of Peppermint Extract
½ teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1 cup of Ice
2 tablespoon of crushed Sugar-free Candy Canes (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Combine ice, yogurt, protein powder, sweetener, peppermint & vanilla extract. Add milk substitute and blend until well combined.
PUMPKIN SPICE GREEN SMOOTHIE
It's time for Pumpkin Spice everything!
This smoothie is creamy and spiced, but thanks to the spinach, almond butter, and pumpkin purée, it's a filling, nutrient-dense on-the-go breakfast.
SERVES 1
¾ cup water
½ cup ice
¼ cup pumpkin purée
2 ounces frozen coconut meat
(Optional- substitute with yogurt)
1 date, pitted
1 large handful spinach
1 tablespoon almond butter
½ teaspoon fresh ginger
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon cardamom
Combine all ingredients in a powerful blender and blitz until creamy and smooth.
